American nuclear aircraft carrier on Friday for the first time since 1991 crossed the Arctic circle and entered the Arctic.

Carrier strike group the U.S. Navy led by the nuclear aircraft carrier Harry S. Truman came on Friday in the limits of the Arctic circle on the eve of NATO exercises Trident Juncture 2018.

From 25 October to 7 November in Northern Europe will be the next NATO exercise, called Trident Juncture. In total, the maneuvers will involve about 50 thousand from 31 countries (29 States of NATO, Finland and Sweden), over 100 aircraft, dozens of ships. Also the exercise will involve the U.S. aircraft carrier group that arrived in Norway for the first time since 1989.
