Olympic champion Alexander Abramenko won the silver medal at the world championship in freestyle and snowboarding in 2019, which takes place in Utah, USA.

In the final competitions in ski acrobatics Abramenko completed the jump Back-Double-Full-Full-Full, which the judges praised in 126,24 points. First place went to the Russian Maxim Burov, which received 130,09 points, and bronze went to the Swiss Noah Roth.
In the competitions in ski acrobatics among women Ukrainian Olga Polyuk took the 7th place, the champion became the representative of Belarus Alexander Romanov.
Silver medal Abramenko became the second in the history of Ukrainian ski acrobatics award of the world Cup after bronze, which Olga Volkova received in 2011.
At the Olympics-2018 in Pyeongchang, Alexander received a gold medal, which was the third in Ukraine for the entire history of participation in the winter games.
Earlier, the Ukrainian athlete annamari Dance received the first medal for Ukraine at the world Championships in snowboarding.
