Ukraine sent 20 members of the Armed forces of Ukraine to Mali to participate in a multidisciplinary mission to the UN.
This is stated in the relevant decree of the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko.
“Guide to Ukraine’s participation in the multidisciplinary integrated UN mission for stabilization in Mali national staff (from among the members of the Armed forces of Ukraine) of up to 20 people,” – said in the text of the decree.
As noted, the direction of the national personnel for Ukraine’s participation in the UN mission for stabilization in Mali will contribute to the maintenance of international peace and security and the national interests of the state.
