The US President Donald trump will not hold official meetings with the presidents of Turkey and South Korea during the G20 summit in Argentina, replacing them with informal conversations.
On it informs Agency AP referring to the White house, writes “UKRINFORM”.
“First, trump had planned to hold eight meetings with world leaders at the G20, but on Thursday he abruptly canceled a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin. The white house said that a formal meeting with the leaders of Turkey and South Korea will be replaced by informal conversations”, – stated in the message.
Earlier it was reported that trump called off his planned meeting in Argentina with Russian President Putin through the aggression of Russia in the Kerch Strait.
“On the assumption that the (Ukrainian – ed.) the ships and sailors were not returned to Ukraine from Russia, I decided that it would be better for all concerned to cancel my previously scheduled appointment in Argentina with President Vladimir Putin”, – wrote the head of the White house.
Deputy spokesperson of US state Department Robert Palladino stated that such decision of the presidential administration wanted to “send Russia a strong and clear message”.
Previously, official Washington and Moscow have agreed to an expanded meeting of presidents in Argentina, where at the end of this week will begin the G20 summit with the participation, including leaders of the Russian Federation and the United States.
