OCS City is launching this Monday, January 14, at 20h40 season 3 of True Detective, which aired in the US+24 compared to HBO in the United States. In 1980, in a small town in Arkansas, two children, a brother and sister, disappear. Detectives Wayne Hays (Mahershala Ali, seen notably in House of Cards) and Roland West (Stephen Dorff) are dispatched on the case without being able to fully resolve. Ten years later, Wayne Hays sees itself summoned to be questioned about this case because new elements have emerged.
The series not only navigate between these two periods, but it adds a third, in which we face a Wayne Hays aged, who remains haunted by this story and seems to lose the foot. Inhabited by his role, Mahershala Ali delivers a performance that is magnetic in this season 3 which, no doubt, goes back to the level compared to the previous one.
The series of anthology True Detective has been successfully launched in January 2014, thanks to a season 1 of a high level. In this dive in Louisiana between 1995 and 2012, the inspectors Rust Cohle and Martin Hart, played by the very convincing Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson, investigating a series of murders. On the other hand, the season 2, which had the cast including Colin Farrell, Rachel McAdams, and Vince Vaughn, was much less convinced.
