In the Ukrainian Parliament for the lifting of immunity of MPs the “opposition bloc” – A. Vilkul and D. Kolesnikov did not vote a sufficient number of MPs because the MPs did not want to help the Prosecutor General Yuri Lutsenko mediocre PR on the subject.
This opinion in comments, ГолосUA expressed by political analyst Alexei Yakubina.
“Those concepts which prepares Yuriy Lutsenko against the deputies, they have recently become so offensive to look at the indictment, we see that the regulation Committee even though it is controlled by allies of the coalition, but RK stopped in recently to support these actions on the part of the Prosecutor General. This was largely a consequence of the fact that Yury Vitalyevich so clumsy PR on these things, directions that the deputies most of which is in the coalition, they just don’t want to participate. And regulation Committee just said, we have these solutions pass into the hall Happy, let the hall Rada decides,” – said the expert.
Also, the analyst added that the regulation Committee is currently trying to distance itself from the decision of Yu.Lutsenko.
“The Committee here is trying to absolve themselves of responsibility and transfer to the Parliament, seeing the clumsiness of submissions prepared by the attorney General. And here the key question “Why is the work of the GPU and Lutsenko became so clumsy?”. The attorney General expects thereby constantly “hung on a hook” by individual members, or professional level of the Prosecutor General has fallen with the advent of the leadership of Yury Vitalyevich? We know he is not a professional lawyer. We even remember how changing the law on the GPU due to the lack of the diploma”, – said A. Yakubina.
Earlier it was reported that on October 16, the Verkhovna Rada did not support the submission of the Prosecutor General Yury Lutsenko on lifting the parliamentary immunity of a member of the faction of the Opposition bloc Alexander Vilkul. “For” vote of 137 deputies. That is, the decision is not adopted because not enough votes. After lunch, the Parliament will consider the removal of inviolability from another member of the “opposition bloc” Dmitry Kolesnikov.
