The Ombudsman of Russia has canceled a meeting with Denisova, writing her a TEXT message

Today, 14 January, Parliament Commissioner for human rights, Lyudmila Denisova, who arrived in Moscow for a meeting of the Lefortovo court on extension of arrest of the captured sailors of the Navy and was supposed to meet with his Russian counterpart Tatiana Moskalkova, but her colleague was suddenly cancelled.

Denisov about it reported in Facebook.

“The Ombudsman of the Russian Federation told me in SMS that she is forced to go to urgent unplanned trip and come back late in the evening. And tomorrow Tatiana Moskalkova flies to Uzbekistan”, – I wrote to Denisov.

Earlier they decided that their meeting will be confidential and will be held before the trial, scheduled for January 15.

“That is all of our previous agreements for a confidential discussion of important issues for us are not for the Ombudsman of the Russian Federation no value”, – said the Ukrainian Ombudsman.

She noted that the investigative Department of the FSB seeks the court that the meeting held behind closed doors and its outcome was not disclosed without permission of the investigator.

“Why it is done, if nothing to hide, it is not clear (…) However, it is now clear exactly why cancelled a meeting with the Commissioner for human rights in the Russian Federation Tatiana Moskalkova,” said Denisov.

We will remind, Verkhovna Rada Commissioner on human rights, Lyudmila Denisova, has contacted the Ukrainian Consul in Moscow and learned how to feel for the captive sailors.
