Nikolai Zinoviev was born in 1945 in Moscow. He graduated from the Gorky Literary Institute. Valery Leontiev performed Valery Leontiev’s first song on the poem “Flight on a hang-glider” (composer Eduard Artemyev) in 1982, followed by songs performed by Sofia Rotaru – “Red Arrow” and “A Music Sounds”.
In total, Nikolai Zinoviev wrote more than 200 songs. In 2008, he was forced to leave his creative work because of Parkinson’s Disease.
