The draft state budget of Ukraine for the year 2019, approved by the government on 14 September, suggests a deficit of 2.26% of gross domestic product.
About it the acting Minister of Finance Oksana Markarova said the Agency “Interfax-Ukraine” on the sidelines of the 15th forum YES.
“The size of the deficit of 2.26% of GDP, if rude to 2.3% of GDP,” she said.
Markarova said that the proceeds from privatization in the project planned in the amount of 17 billion UAH.
“As for borrowing, it is assumed to be borrowing from our international partners, and market borrowing,” – said the head of the Ministry of Finance does not specify particular indicators.
As reported, the government approved the draft budget 2019 with revenues of $ 1 trillion 8.3 billion UAH and expenditures of 1 billion 94 billion.
Budget revenues-2018 planned in the amount of 917,9 billion UAH, expenditures – at the level 991,7 billion UAH, the maximum volume of the deficit is 80.6 billion, or 2.4% of GDP.
The budget deficit for January-July 2018 amounted to UAH 13.4 billion, while last year’s budget over this period were drawn with a surplus of 27 billion UAH.
The state budget for 2018 assumes the receipts from privatization UAH 21.3 billion, however, in January-July, privatization has brought a total of 49.9 million UAH at the plan for the period of 4.6 billion UAH.
The state budget for 2017 included 17.1 billion UAH from privatization receipts, however, the budget received only UAH 3.4 billion. The principal amount of 3.05 billion UAH, the Fund received due to the sale in August of a blocking stake of shares of energy companies, which bought the group “SCM” Rinat Akhmetov, already owning them a majority.
Revenues from privatization in 2016 was 0.19 billion under the plan 17.1 billion UAH.
