Banned in the Ukraine Communist party (KPU) has nominated a candidate for President of their leader Petro Symonenko.

Despite the de-communization and “ban the Communist ideology” in Ukraine and its supporters to go underground is not going and ready to participate again in the presidential race, their leader has already announced his intention to run for the highest office in the Ukraine.

As informs a press-service of political power, on 3 January in Kiev was held the 54th Congress of the Communist party, and announced the decision on nomination of Peter Simonenko. On the official portal of the Communist party clarifies that the candidate “voted unanimously”.

As evidenced by photos from the Congress of Ukrainian Communists, he was in a half-empty hall where a few delegates to the advanced age of the newly nominated candidate of the political force Petro Symonenko, who directs the Communist party since the early 90-ies of the last century.

It is worth noting that Petro Symonenko was a candidate for the 2014 presidential elections, but the vote never came – politician, withdrew his candidacy.
