The Cabinet 18 Dec approved and submitted to the Council of national security and defense Council (NSDC) regular proposals to apply sanctions to individuals and legal entities of Russia.
About it reports a press-service of the Ministry of the temporarily occupied territories and internally displaced persons of Ukraine (Minot).
According to the government, the restrictive measures (sanctions) applied to a series of physical and legal entities that create real or potential threats to national interests of Ukraine, violate the interests of society and the state, lead to the problem of property losses, creating obstacles to full implementation by citizens of Ukraine their rights and freedoms.
In particular, it is proposed to impose sanctions on 23 individuals who were engaged to conduct illegal archaeological exploration on cultural heritage sites or taking part in events aimed at legitimizing the illegal occupation of Crimea and Sevastopol.
Also, the proposed sanctions apply to certain Russian companies and enterprises from European countries, which provide the activity of LLC “Titanium investment” in Armyansk in Crimea: 14 legal entities involved in the supply of materials, equipment and services for plants of the military-industrial complex of the Russian Federation on the temporarily occupied territories; to some legal persons involved in the organization of transportations through the ports of Temryuk, Kavkaz and Kerch ferry.
In addition, it is proposed to adopt sanctions to some individuals who are the leaders/founders of the legal entities, involved in illegal construction of transport crossing through the Kerch Strait.
It is noted that the imposition of sanctions for all involved legal entities and individuals make no economic relations with Ukraine, will allow to limit or terminate economic relations with EU countries and the United States that will later facilitate the return of the occupied territories in the legal field of Ukraine.
Recall, the Cabinet because of the aggression of the Russian Federation proposed the national security Council impose sanctions against legal entities.
