For Ukraine there was always a shortage for some needs in the aspect of humanitarian aid, and by the meeting of the UN Security Council it is unlikely that anything will change.
The correspondent of ГолосUA said political analyst Vladimir Will.
“As far as humanitarian issues, (at a meeting of the UN security Council – Ed.) these aspects will sound from all the speakers. All will appeal to the suffering of ordinary citizens – Russia, the US and other countries that are interested in it. It will come in another discussion at a very high level. I doubt that something will actually change in terms of implementation of the Minsk agreements in the issue of improving the humanitarian situation”, – said the analyst.
According to Mr. Will, a meeting of the UN security Council is not able in any way to improve the situation in the matter of implementation of the Minsk agreements in General and in the aspect of humanitarian assistance, in particular.
“The support that the UN is (fundraising, which periodically occurs, and the coming humanitarian goods), if we consider the statistics of past years, there is, as I understand it, there are problems with the filling of all humanitarian funds, including that relating to the conflict in the Donbass. For Ukraine there was always a shortage for some needs. Therefore, from this meeting of the UN security Council, the situation is unlikely to improve,” he said.
We will remind, the speaker of the Permanent mission of Ukraine to the UN Oleg Nikolenko declared that today, February 12, will be a presentation to member States of the UN humanitarian response Plan for Ukraine in 2019.
