In front of the cameras BFM TV, the actress belgo-Dutch Sand Van Roy demonstrates for the first time face to face against Luc Besson, whom she accuses of rape. The French filmmaker denies all of the accusations in a letter to the news channel continuously.

If it is not the only one to accuse Luc Besson of sexual behaviors that are inappropriate and violence, the actress belgo-Dutch Sand Van Roy now speaks face to face. The actress is no longer concealed and, for the first time in front of cameras BFM TV, it book the story chilling in its meetings with the director of 59 years. In a matter released Tuesday, January 8, on the channel, she returns on the night of may 17, 2018 where, in a room of the luxurious Hotel Bristol in Paris, she would have been raped by Luc Besson. “I said: ‘Stop, you make me hurt’. It has not stopped. For me, it was sadistic. He knew it was wrong, he saw that I was crying. I was desperate, I didn’t know what to do, and he continued”, she says.

In the aftermath of the alleged assault, the actress went to file a complaint and doctors of emergency medico-legal found a bruise to the eye and marks on the back of the young woman of 29 years. In total, Sand Van Roy accused Luc Besson of four sex non-consensual, and violence, since they met at a casting call in 2015.

Contacted by BFM TV, the famous producer of Taxi 5 did not wish to respond directly to these accusations. His lawyer has sent a letter to the chain where the filmmaker denies any wrongdoing : “Heard at his request, Luc Besson has refuted all of the accusations made by ms. Van Roy in the context of the relationship that they have maintained for two years (…) As all defendants, mr. Besson is presumed innocent”. Eight other women have testified in the press and claim to have experienced inappropriate behaviour from the filmmaker, a film student, also interviewed by BFMTV, which describes inappropriate touching during an internship with the director in 2016.

With a single complaint filed against him (that is, Sand Van Roy in may last), for the time being no criminal investigation has been opened by the prosecutor against Luc Besson.
