The government deprived hundreds of thousands of Ukrainian citizens ‘ constitutional right to vote in elections, with the aim of eliminating the manipulation of polling stations on the territory of the Russian Federation.
This opinion was expressed by MP of Ukraine, leader of “the Opposition platform For life” Vadim Rabinovich in his Facebook.
“According to various estimates, hundreds of thousands of our citizens are in Russia. Who to work who for any other reason. And that’s the power of depriving them of the right to vote. It’s unconstitutional and illegal. Is part of future manipulation of the elections”, – said the politician.
The MP also declared that will challenge the CEC decision in court.
“I’m suing on this decision. People, we must not be silent! Our citizens are deprived of their fundamental right to participate in elections!” – said Vadim Rabinovich.
Recall, January 31-listing of foreign polling stations have been removed, the permanent plots that were previously located in Russian Federation. The decision was taken by the Central election Commission. According to annexes to the resolution, the CEC eliminated the five polling stations of Ukraine abroad.
“To eliminate the polling station number 900075, in connection with which position on this polling station should be deleted. To eliminate the polling station: №900077, №900078, №900117, №900118”, stated in the decision of the CEC.
According to the decree of 12 April 2012, the relevant polling stations were located on the territory of the Russian Federation.
