President Petro Poroshenko believes that in the future Ukraine will get what seems unbearable, and will become a member of the European Union and NATO.
He stated this during his speech after the Liturgy in St. Sophia of Kyiv, reports UKRINFORM.
“And in the future will be what we aim at and what at first glance looks daunting. In Ukraine they say: “If even the eyes are afraid, hands do!” And will the result will come and victory will come peace, and Ukraine — a successful, rich country, a country of happy and joyful country, will become a member of EU and NATO”, — said the head of state.
Poroshenko noted that each of us has a little bit from the “Thomas the unbeliever”, which all questioned. At the same time, the President recalled that we have repeatedly seen that for Ukrainians nothing is impossible when we agree when we all work together as a single Ukrainian political nation.
“And it’s not just Thomas, but also the Association Agreement with the EU, this also applies to a visa-free regime, the energy and gas independence from Russia, as well as other highly complex problems, which we solved in the last five years as part of our Ukrainian European and Euro-Atlantic statist strategy,” — said Poroshenko.
