In a press-service of presidential Administration of Ukraine said that Petro Poroshenko did not accept the statement of the Prosecutor General Yury Lutsenko’s resignation from office.

As reported in the AAP said that Lutsenko “important tasks”.
“The President has returned the statement of the Prosecutor General, considering that Yury Lutsenko received a vote of confidence in Parliament,” – said the press service of the presidential administration.
Recall that on 6 November, during a speech in the session hall of the Verkhovna Rada, Lutsenko said that this will be Poroshenko statement about his resignation in connection with the death of the activist Catherine Gandzyuk.
“That there was no doubt that power no one clings, I submit today a letter of resignation to the President of Ukraine”, – said the Prosecutor General.
On the same day, the Verkhovna Rada did not support Lutsenko’s resignation. In ranked voting, the resignation of attorney General was supported by only 38 members.
“I was the requirements about voting, and I can use my right, I can put only the political, preferential voting, not a real vote. But if there is such a requirement – I put”, – said the speaker of Parliament Andriy Parubiy, voted on the question of support statements by Lutsenko’s resignation.
The next day, November 7, a spokesman Lutsenko Larisa Sargan reported that the attorney General has filed a letter of resignation from the post of the President of Petro Poroshenko.
