The Russian biathlon Union (RBU) has approved the transition of two women to the biathlon Federation of Ukraine to participate in international competitions of the season 2018/2019.
As reported in the press service of the RBU, the decision to transition Anastasia Rasskazovo and Catherine beh approved at the next meeting of the Union.
“The RRF Board considered a letter from the Federation of biathlon of Ukraine… with a request to give consent to transition Anastasia Rasskazovo and Catherine beh in Federation of biathlon of Ukraine”, – stated in the message.
Five athletes: Krucinski Deer, Krucinski Irina, Muscovy Anna Aborowa ARIN and Lobastova Nikita – are allowed to move to the Belarusian team “without being subject to a two-year restrictive period provided for under article 9 of the Constitution of the International biathlon Union,” reads the decision.
We will remind, on September 5 this year, the international biathlon Union (IBU) has not restored a full member of the Russian biathlon Union (RBU) in the organization. SBR remains temporary member of the IBU. This decision was taken at a meeting of the IBU Executive Committee on the first day of the XIII Congress of the IBU in the Croatian Porec.
Last year Tyumen lost the right to host the world Cup 2017 through numerous suspected violations of doping Russian biathletes and for this reason were not included in the list of cities competing to hold the world Cup in 2021.
