The creative union of 16-year-old Kayi Gerber and 79-year-old Karl Lagerfeld is successfully developing. Inspired by the joint work within Chanel, the legendary designer invited the young model to introduce his own brand. Kaya became the face of a new campaign, in which items from the autumn / winter-2018 collection are presented. Inspiration for the campaign was the architecture of Paris – photos of the girl Lagerfeld combined with the recognizable designs of the Eiffel Tower.
The stylist of the photo session was the former editor-in-chief of French Vogue Karin Roitfeld. Well and the author of photos became itself Lagerfeld.
In the collection itself, cosmic ideas are traced: there are many futuristic silhouettes, brilliant accents and applications in the form of rockets, and its symbol was the image of Karl Lagerfeld in the image of an astronaut. The main colors, however, are quite autumn dark blue, wine shades and classic black.
In the fall, the long-awaited collaboration between Kayi Gerber and Karl Lagerfeld, announced at the beginning of the year, will also be released. The joint collection will be aimed at a young audience, which will inevitably lead to Kaya – you can buy free jeans, hoodies, leather jackets, sneakers and accessories.
