The head of the Ministry of foreign Affairs of Hungary Peter Siarto said that Budapest will continue to block the holding of the Commission Ukraine-NATO.

“Hungary expresses its support for the territorial integrity of Ukraine, but will continue a policy of protecting the interests of their community in the territory of that state. Hungary will be able to unlock its veto session of the Commission Ukraine-NATO, if Kiev will take the necessary steps to restore the rights of the Hungarian community that lives on the Ukrainian territory, which is consistent with our bilateral agreements and international law. The ball is now on the side of Ukraine”, – said Sarto.
Also the head of the Hungarian foreign Ministry noted that “Hungary is under pressure, so she changed my position,” but cautioned that, if we surrender, then we will have no other ways to participate in the life of the Hungarian community in Ukraine.”
As reported, a Budapest, being a member of NATO, blocking the holding of the Commission Ukraine-NATO at the highest level, but this time did not oppose the presence of Ukrainian foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin at the Ministerial meeting of the organization.
