In the capital of Georgia on Rustaveli Avenue held a mass protest organized by the United opposition, demanding early parliamentary elections.
According to Georgia Online, the opposition leaders would not recognise the results of the second round of the presidential elections which were recorded facts of falsification, pressure on voters, violence, coercion, blackmail.
According to representatives of the opposition, early elections should be held on proportional or proportional-regional principle.
The action made by the candidate from the United opposition Grigol Vashadze, former Georgian President (via Skype) Mikheil Saakashvili and other leaders of the opposition groups.
As stated at the meeting Vashadze, opposition Association “Strength in unity” intends to file a lawsuit in court demanding to cancel the results of the second round of presidential elections.
Also, according to Vashadze, should be investigated.
About hold a rally on December 2 in Tbilisi was declared by the candidate in presidents of Georgia from the United opposition Grigol Vashadze. He said that Georgia “no President, and 28 November in Georgia the elections were held”. He also said about the mass fraud, pressure on voters, blackmail, coercion and bribery during elections.
In the second round of the presidential elections in Georgia defeated Salome Zurabishvili – the candidate from ruling party “Georgian dream”. For it, according to preliminary data of the CEC, voted 59,61% of voters.
