On the sidelines of the summit of “Big twenty” (G-20) Berlin and Vienna will not discuss questions of introduction of additional sanctions against the Russian Federation because of the incident in the Kerch Strait.
This was stated by the European political columnist Marie Pudemo in comments to the correspondent of ГолосUA.
“At the moment Germany and Austria are very interested in supplies of Russian gas on its territory, therefore, to conduct any negotiations on new sanctions against the Kremlin on the forum G-20, they will not, – said, in particular, it. – There is no doubt that the German and Austrian delegations will be limited to the signing of the document on “the need for additional investigation into the situation in the Azov sea”. To lobby the interests of Ukraine, they will not”. However, on the question of what kind of position will be to adhere to these countries in the context of the international hearings on the incident, M. Pudemo has not responded.
We remind that the forum “Big twenty” was launched on 30 November in Buenos Aires. The leaders of the twenty advanced countries in the world, as well as delegates from observer countries will define vectors of development of world economy and discuss the prospects of combating international terrorism.
