Sixth racket of the world, Ukrainian tennis player Elina Svitolina for the second year in a row will be at the Final tournament the Women’s tennis Association (WTA).
Elina Svitolina has secured a place at the event in Singapore after the defeat Carolina Plskova in the tournament VTB Kremlin Cup – WTA Premier in Moscow, reports btu.org.ua.
In the second round at the Premiere in Moscow the fifth racket of the world Carolina Plskova lost ex-second “racket” of the world Vera Zvonareva with the score 1:6, 2:6.
Defeat the Czechs ensures Elina Swelly a ticket to the WTA Finals in 2018, which will be held in Singapore from 21 to 28 October this year.
Elina Svitolina, which debuted on WTA Finals last season (two defeats and one victory in the group), this year won three titles (37 wins and 14 losses).
Previously qualified for the Championships TOP 8 were tennis players Simona Halep (Romania), Angelique Kerber (Germany), Caroline Wozniacki (Denmark), Naomi Osaka (Japan), Petra Kvitova (Czech Republic) and Sloane Stephens (USA).
