In Ukraine today, February 3, entered into force the law on procurement of goods, works and services for defense purposes on import that will allow the Ministry of defence and the General staff of the Armed forces of Ukraine directly purchasing overseas service with the NATO partners.
The law was published in the newspaper “Voice of Ukraine” yesterday, February 2, and in accordance with the provisions of the document, it shall enter into force the day after publication.
According to the text of the law, now state customers for defence order are the subjects of foreign economic activities and the entities undertaking international transfers of goods.
The law also amends the laws “On state defense order”, “On state control over international transfers of military goods and dual-use”, “On foreign economic activity” and the commercial code of Ukraine.
