Scientists found a new species of flying dinosaur previously unknown.
It is reported Acta Palaeontologica Polnica.
Researchers from Portsmouth University in the UK concluded that the dinosaur existed approximately 167 million years ago. His remains were found in Oxfordshire.
The reptile called Klobiodon rochei. Scientists believe that the wingspan of a dinosaur was about two meters. And in separate species, these dinosaurs helped to highlight the differing structure of the jaw.
Scientists from the U.S. found evidence of the struggle between the shark and cretoxyrhina flying reptile, called the Pteranodon. Also, paleontologists have found the remains of a large four-toed predatory dinosaur in a rather unusual place — in the Italian Alps. The researchers argue that newly identified lizard, called Saltriovenator zanellai, lived about 200 million years ago.
