A group of American senators, Republicans and Democrats, introduced a resolution that the crown Prince of Saudi Arabia called the “partner” of the murder of journalist Jamal Khashoggi.
Largely symbolic, the resolution promulgated on 5 December on the background of discontent among U.S. lawmakers by the reaction of the administration of President Donald trump on the murder of the journalist, reports “Radio Freedom”.
The resolution, in particular, was supported by Republican Senator Lindsey Graham, a leading ally of trump.
The document notes that the Senate “has a high level of confidence” regarding the fact that Prince Mohammad bin Salman was an “accessory to murder”.
