On the first day of competition at the “Games of the unconquered-2018” in Sydney (Australia) Ukrainian Denis Fyschuk received a bronze medal in the race.

This is the first medal for the Ukrainian team in the current competition and the first two years, a medal in Cycling, the press service of the defense Ministry.

“The speed, as for fans, it was a pretty sharp turn and finish up. The highest speed reached 60 km/h. Overall, happy with the performance, did everything I could,” said Fyschuk.

This year the competitions involve teams from 18 countries: Afghanistan, Australia, Canada, Denmark, Estonia, France, Georgia, Germany, Iraq, Italy, Jordan, Netherlands, New Zealand, Poland, Romania, Ukraine, UK, USA

Ukraine stands in six sports disciplines – athletics, swimming, rowing simulator, road Cycling, archery and weightlifting. Last year Ukraine took part in the “Games undefeated” in Canada. Then in the Games competed 550 military personnel and veterans. Ukrainian athletes won eight gold, three silver and three bronze awards.
