Enlargement of the Central election Commission of Ukraine from 15 to 17 members is unlikely, as Parliament is unlikely to find this voice.
This commentary, ГолосUA said political analyst Kirill Molchanov.
“The situation with the CEC complex. If President Poroshenko was interested in updating the CEC, it would not have applied 14 candidates for 13 seats. It was originally created conflict and sparked distrust factor among MPs. Skeptical about the fact that the CEC will be upgraded, there is a high probability that the elections take place with the old members of the CEC headed Stations,” said K. Molchanov.
The expert said that on Thursday for the renewal of the CEC, there is hardly a voice in Parliament.
“Whether there will be votes on Thursday for the update of the CEC – the big question, and the very process of the update of the CEC have a claim,” – concluded K. Molchanov.
