Salome Zurabishvili, who won the presidential elections in Georgia, believes that now is not the time to cooperate with Russia.
She told about it in interview to “the Russian service Bi-bi-si” reports “Ukrainian truth”.
“I don’t think, as long as Russia behaves the way now, given what is happening on the line of occupation, where kidnappings, and this line is moving deeper into our territory, closer to Tbilisi… considering how Russia is behaving with Ukraine, I don’t think all of this means that we can now move on to cooperation,” – said Zurabishvili.
She said that Georgia is a Pro-European stance, and if the Western partners of the country in the face of Europe and America will start a dialogue with Russia, then Georgia will not remain on the sidelines.
The Central election Commission of Georgia published on Thursday, data of the second round of presidential elections after the counting of 100% of the votes: Zurabishvili scored 59,52% of the vote.
