WWE superstar and native of North Carolina Jeff Hardy was arrested northeast of Charlotte in Concord on Saturday and was accused of drunk driving, media reports.
According to a police report received by TMZ Sports, 40-year-old Jeff Hardy got into an accident and admitted that he was the driver of the Cadillac CTS-V sedan in 2016. He passed a test for alcohol, showing that he was not very sober, reports TMZ.
He must appear on April 16, eight days after WrestleMania 34, which is scheduled for April 8 in New Orleans, media reports. Pro Wrestling Sheet confirmed that he was arrested around ten in the evening on Saturday and released from custody in about an hour.
The arrest occurred in Concord at Concord Parkway, when Hardy broke and crashed into the fence, and after driving to another road, driving straight into the middle, provoking an accident, WrestlingInc.com.
