The Federal Bureau of investigation (FBI) does not exclude that Russia influenced the aggravation of the situation in Charlotsville in August 2017.
In an interview with CNN, said Congressman Thomas Garrett.
According to Garrett, two months ago at a closed briefing, the FBI raised the issue of clashes in Charlotsville. The management office confirmed that the Russian side influenced the escalation of the conflict.
“Two months ago I was at a closed session briefing on the situation in Charlotsville with the FBI Director. Among other questions, I asked whether there was Russia’s intervention in the conflict around what happened in Charlotsville. I said so,” said Garrett.
