World champion in 2015 and the silver medal in the 2016 Olympics in the modern pentathlon, Ukrainian Pavel Timoshenko became the bronze medalist of the world Cup 2018 in Mexico city (Mexico) and national team of Ukraine in team tournament also won “bronze”.

In the final personal tournament Paul from Kiev Timoshenko showed the third result – 1429 points, UKRINFORM reported.

Defeated James cook of Britain (1435), and the silver went to Frenchman Valentin Prades (1435).

In the final, also played two more Ukrainians – Denis Pavlyuk (1375) finished 25th, and a graduate of the Lviv state University of physical culture Yury Fedechko (1347) – 33.

In the team tournament Timoshenko, Pavlyuk, Fedechko won the bronze medal (4151), behind pyatibortsev France (4250) and the UK (4176).

We will add that in 2019, the world Championships in modern pentathlon will be held in Budapest (Hungary).
