Poroshenko submitted to the Parliament “urgent” a bill to launch an anti-corruption court

President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko submitted as urgent the bill on the formation of the anti-corruption court for consideration of the Verkhovna Rada.

“President Petro Poroshenko accordance with article 93 and article 125 of the Constitution of Ukraine submitted to the Verkhovna Rada the draft law of Ukraine” On Higher education of the anti-corruption court.” The head of state defined the document as urgent for early consideration of Parliament”, – stated in the message.

The purpose of the draft law – implementation of the requirements of the Constitution of Ukraine, law of Ukraine “On Higher anti-corruption court” and the law of Ukraine “On judicial system and status of judges” for the commencement of activities of the Higher anti-corruption court.

To report the bill during its consideration at the plenary meeting of the Verkhovna Rada Deputy head of the presidential Administration of Ukraine Oleksiy Filatov.

We will remind that on June 7 the Verkhovna Rada adopted the law on “Higher anti-corruption court.”

On 11 June he was signed by the President Petro Poroshenko. And entered into force the law on June 14.

On the same day, 14 June, Poroshenko has submitted to the High Council of justice a draft law “On Higher education of the anti-corruption court.”

On 18 June the High Council of justice supported the presidential bill on the creation of the Higher anti-corruption court.
