The season of festivals is in full swing. So, in the cultural capital of Russia the International Music Festival “White Nights of St. Petersburg”, which this year was held for the tenth time, has just ended.
For three days of the festival dozens of Russian stars have risen on its stage – Polina Gagarina, Svetlana Loboda, Filipp Kirkorov, Sergey Lazarev, Dima Bilan, Ani Lorak, Christina Orbakaite and many others, as well as foreign artists – Seal and Patricia Kaas.
But the “White Nights of St. Petersburg” is not only the performances of stars that have already taken place, but also the music competition of the newcomers in show business: this year ten contestants from nine countries of the world took part in the festival. They performed their songs and covers for the audience world hits.
Yury Aksyuta, the main producer of the music channel of the First Channel, Yury Aksyuta, the general producer of the Russian Media Group, Sergey Baldin, the editor-in-chief of Radio Chanson, Ekaterina Mikhailova, the Universal Music Group CEO Dmitry Konnov and the marketing director of Warner Music Group Alexander Kasparov evaluated the contestants.
The third place was taken by the participant from Thailand Preen. In second place was Edward Khacharyan from Russia. The first place was given to the jury by a group from the USA – Mister Mother. But the Grand Prix of the festival was given to Anastasia Spiridonova, who may be familiar to you on the “Voice” show.
