Terrorist organization “Islamic state” has claimed responsibility for the attack in Melbourne, Australia.

It is reported by the SITE Intelligence Group, citing news Agency ISIS.

Unknown crashed the car in the window of a shop in the Australian city of Melbourne, and then set fire to the truck.

The cars were gas cylinders exploded after an arson of the car. After that, the unknown with a knife attacked passers-by, causing one person died and two were injured.

Then the terrorist ran and the police came to the rescue and began to strike blows by a knife one of them. Eventually the police shot him and wounded the attacker, who died in the hospital. Law enforcement officers called the attack an act of terrorism.

The assailant and his family was already under police surveillance, he had previously prosecuted for drug use, theft and traffic violations.
