Irina Sheik, as you know, does not let the press into his private life and prefers not to comment on the relationship with the father of his one-year-old daughter. Journalists rarely manage to talk it out on personal topics, but there are exceptions to the rule. The British magazine Evening Standard showed on the network the cover of a fresh issue on which a 32-year-old Russian supermodel appeared.
On the summer cover Sheik appeared in the green swimsuit Topshop in the style of the 1980s. The shooting, authored by Ellen von Unwerth, turned out to be diverse and bright. Well, an interview with the heroine of the photo session will attract as much attention of readers as Irina answered questions about her personal life, candid shootings, a difficult beginning of a modeling career and many other things.
When asked about the novel with Bradley Cooper, the model answered as usual: that she prefers not to talk too personal, but hinted that everything was good in her family.
In my spare time I live as a normal person,
On the beginning of the career model:
I had no idea what the work of the model was. Agreeing to work in France, I thought only that I could withdraw for the catalog and help my family. I did not speak English. In Paris she lived in a small apartment with other model girls. We had only 40 euros a week for pocket expenses. On Sundays, we decided to buy rice and eat it, because there was no money left. On Monday they descended into the metro with one euro in their pockets and went to the agency for money to live for the next week. It was a difficult, but fun time.
About ridicule because of the non-standard figure:
Other girls laughed at me and said that I did not look like a model. They were super-crazy and in demand at the shows. And I did not pass castings, because I could not show clothes that were too small. I had a swarthy skin and a more sexy figure – there was a chest. Now I come to Paris, the driver picks me up and takes me to a nice hotel. The period of lack of money made me realize that nothing is easy. From this you value everything much higher.
In the interview Irina recalled her childhood and youth in Emanjelinsk, where she lived with her parents and sister. The father of the future star of the world podium worked as a miner and died when Irina was 14 years old, and my mother Shake taught music at school and tried to give her daughters education.
We went by bus to the theater. I studied for seven years at a music school that I hated. I was glad when my sister accidentally broke my finger, because because of this I could not go to the piano exam,
– Irina told.
Topless shooting and modeling business:
We live in the XXI century, when a woman can express her sexuality and not be ashamed of her own body … I’m not a topless – this is my personal decision. But if I am asked to nudge and I like the project, I agree to undress. I perceive such shootings as art.
