A pensioner from the Netherlands Emile Ratelband, age 69 years, says he feels 20 years younger and requested the authorities to change the date of his birth documents from 1949 to 1969. In addition, Ratelband filed a lawsuit and said he was ready to abandon the pension for the change of the age.
This is the BBC.
The pensioner told that he expects the official “rejuvenation” to attract more attention in the social network for Tinder, used for Dating.
Emile Ratelband wishes to change their date of birth 11 March 1949 11 March 1969 and compares this with the change of sex.
“You can change the name, change the gender. Why not age?” – he said in comments to Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf.
According to the publication, Ratelband filed a lawsuit in the city court of Arnhem, near Amsterdam. The court must render a decision within one month.
Dutch newspaper Algemeen Dagblad reports that the court is unlikely to take such a decision, because in the Netherlands there is no legal mechanism that would allow the citizen to officially change the age.
The man in the suit explained that “discriminated against for your age” when applying for a job and finding a relationship with Tinder.
Ratelband also said that, according to doctors, the condition of his body corresponds to the age of 45 years, and he describes himself as a “young God.”
The Constitution of the Netherlands prohibits discrimination on the basis of age when applying for a job.
