In St. Petersburg, Russia, was held a picket against Russian military aggression against Ukraine.
This writes an Echo of the Caucasus.
The picket on Nevsky Prospekt was attended by about 50 people.
Member of the democratic organization of Solidarity with Olga Smirnova and organizer of picket considers that the capture of three Ukrainian warships and the capture of the sailors is an attempt by Russia to increase the area of occupation of Ukrainian territory with weapons.
The picketers demanded the release and return to Ukraine of sailors and ships to stop the naval blockade of Ukrainian ports in the sea of Azov and punish those responsible for the capture of a Ukrainian ship.
Participants of the protest action believe that the Ukrainian sailors should be given the status of prisoners of war, but they illegally tried as civilians who commit a felony.
It is noted that the activists had expressed outrage at the actions of the Russian military who opened fire on foreign vessels that do not pose a threat to Russia.
During the picket the activist was attacked by an aggressive woman who tore the poster.
The pickets lasted for 3 hours.
