The police report sheds some details about the NXIVM case, which was headed by the star of the series “Smallville Secrets” by Allison Mack. From a hungry actress, she turned into a cruel cult leader, in which sexually exploited women.
Alison Mack is accused of sexual trafficking and conspiracy for the purpose of forced labor and sexual exploitation as part of the activities of the NXIVM. Unsuccessful career in the cinema forced her to become a member of the cult and, ultimately, to become one of the leaders of the organization – in just 12 years.
The 35-year-old actress joined the NXIVM in 2006 and made her way to the second senior position of the so-called “master”. In its function was the recruitment of potential slaves. It seems that she was looking for spiritual guidance in her life when she came across a cult, according to a police report. Now she faces a prison sentence of up to 15 years.
“She was so hungry for something more, a kind of sign that showed the purpose and meaning of life,” said actress and ex-girlfriend Mack Christina Lakin. The leader of the sect Keith Rennier promised Mack to help with the acting career, lured an expensive 16-day training, for which she did not have to pay. This happened when the actress starred in the 5th season of “Smallville Tyne”.
She began regularly attending cult courses and setting up party for the canoes in her apartment in Vancouver. Barbara Busha, the right hand of Renier, completed her “entry into the cult” and made a recruiter.
