The earthquake of magnitude 6.8 occurred near the Norwegian island of Jan Mayen in the Arctic ocean.

It is reported by the USGS.

The epicenter of earthquake was located 125 kilometers South-East of the settlement Olonkinbyen, Jan Mayen, between Greenland and Norwegian seas.

The threat of a tsunami has not been announced.

Also, earlier, on 5 November, the Northern coast of Japan earthquake with magnitude of 5.9 of the ball.
